Bright, sturdy unicorn bike loved by kids; assembly can be tricky with unclear instructions. Some quality issues with brakes and decals peeling. Overall good value and enjoyable for children.

Bought forty my granddaughter she loves it so way to put together

Pretty but lacks quality
Bought for my daughter's birthday. She loves it because it's so pretty. However, the assembly instructions are not as clear as they could be so read it very carefully because it's easy to fix parts facing the wrong way. My dad worked in a bike shop constructing bikes for years and ended up helping me. He found the build and quality of the pieces to be average to poor. Also, no matter how much you tighten the stabilisers, they come loose mid-ride and this resulted in my daughter falling off and getting a nasty cut on her hand. The design is lovely, but the build and quality lets this product down.

Ideal for 3-4 Yr old
It’s a substantial little bike - 3yr old granddaughter was delighted with it. It’s quite heavy but feels like it will last. The colours and unicorn designs were also popular. Easy to assemble.

Good quality for the money
Not bad quality for the money to be fair, easy enough to put together for mechanical minded people, could be a bit tricky for the average person though, instructions could be made simpler

Hey Monry,
I can advise that this bike can be used on the road.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Natasha,
I can advise the following for the Pedal Pals 12 inch Wheel Size Kids Mountain Bike:
The upper age will be depending on the Childs weight, inside leg and arm reach measurement. This is aimed at 2 year plus as a average size a child will be at the age of 2.
Here are the specifications that you will need to look at to understand if a child 2+ will be suitable for this bike:
Height of handle bars (from ground to handle bars) 15inches.
8 inch frame size.
12 inch wheel size.
Suitable for ages 2 years and over.
Inside leg 13-15 inches.
Assembled dimensions: H65, W49, L89cm.
Weight when fully assembled 7kg.
The leg amassment is a standard unit of measurement for bikes, as this is the seat to pedal length to ensure that the knee is within the correct range so it's not over stretched or under stretched. Ensure you look at bit fit guides, or take the child to a local bike shop to get an idea of frame size and pedal/crank arm length is suitable for the child.
Age isn't a measurement value used for bike fitting, it's just an average age that a child may be to fit this bike.
Thanks for using Q & A.
Hello Majbeen,

Hello Sadi. The Pedal Pals Rainbow 12 Inch Wheel Size Kids Mountain Bike is not suitable for children under three years old. However, the bike has been designed with measurements rather than age in mind. This is the best way to decide on suitability as all children are made differently and age is no guarantee of size. I hope this helps.
Thanks for using Q&A.
