About this product
This top of the range heavy duty 25m garden hose with anti-kink and anti-knot technology. Being anti-kink, the water will always flow no matter how much the hose is twisted or tangled. Consisting of 5 reinforced layers, this super strong 25m hose comes complete with all the connectors you need to start watering. The fitting set consists of a premium spray nozzle, garden tap adaptors (for both half inch and three-quarter inch taps), universal and water stop connectors.
This hose and its fittings are compatible with all other major watering brands including Hozelock, Gardena and Karcher. The water stop connector prevents you wasting water by only allowing water through once the hose is connected to a sprinkler, nozzle or pressure washer.
It can be easily stored on a hose reel (not supplied) and connected to other hoses with the supplied connectors. Built to last, this McGregor hose comes complete with an extra-long 5-year guarantee. The outdoor tap adaptors are 3/4" female threaded and the BSP connector is 3/4" thread to 1/2" thread.
To maximise the life of any garden hose, we recommend you disconnect your hose from the water supply when not in use, store it on a reel (not supplied) and store out of direct sunlight. If frost is expected, we recommend storing the hose in a shed or garage.

“ This type of product is a garden hose whose purpose is watering only. It cannot be used with hot water as it was not designed for this kind of use. Moreover, it cannot be used for pressure washers as their pressure resistance is designed for garden watering. As previously suggested, these hoses could be used for letting water into the pressure washer, provided that water is not hot. ”

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the McGregor Heavy Duty Anti Kink Hose Set - 25m 474/3112: In general PVC hoses, like the 9 ones you have in the McGregor range, do not shred very easily. We made several tests that highlighted that a PVC hose resists for more than 16 km, even with high external temperatures. It may get a little dirty, but it is very difficult that it shreds. However it is very important the type of surface where you use it. If the surface is very rough, it may get scratched a little, but not permanently damaged.

The McGregor Heavy Duty Anti Kink Hose Set - 25m is primarily for outdoor use and contains two garden tap adaptors (for both half inch and three-quarter inch taps). It will not necessarily fit on all indoor taps so you can try and source a fitting for your tap at a local hardware store.
