About this product
The Argos Home Heathdon Ottoman Bed gives you a proper double bed and hidden storage in one frame. There's a full under-bed compartment beneath the mattress that holds 534 litres, enough for spare bedding, seasonal clothing, or anything you want out of sight. Easy-lift pistons take the weight when you lift the base, so you can reach everything stored inside without awkward bending or heavy lifting. Soft fabric upholstery covers the frame, while the padded headboard provides comfortable support when you're reading or watching TV in bed.
Ventilated sprung wooden slats sit beneath the mattress, giving flexible support and letting air circulate to keep things fresh. The storage space measures 138.5cm wide and 193cm deep, with 25cm of height for bulkier items. The headboard fixes securely to the frame, all fixings included. There's 3cm space underneath for hoovering, while the siderails sit 31cm high. Self-assembly required with two people recommended, instructions and fixings provided. Manufacturer's one year guarantee included.

Looks good, flawed design
I bought two of these beds from Argos. Assembly wasn’t straightforward due to poor instructions. On the second bed, the gas-lift springs up too abruptly, so you need to be careful when opening it. The ottoman storage is disappointing- the base is just a Velcro sheet, so anything stored inside sits directly on the floor rather than in a proper compartment. The headboard is also fixed to the frame, making it awkward to move between rooms. That said, it does look nice once assembled, but overall the quality and design fall short. Make sure you get good quality mattress.

Check your parts
Im only giving it a 3 as screws bolts and slats were missing, sent slats and wrong bolts first time eventually got bolts so 2 weeks after recieving could sleep on it, easy to put up good storage
