Developed a large crack in the seat within a week
This small and lightweight garden bench was purchased 2 weeks ago. It was for my mother (92) who lives in the hebrides. Within a week the bench developed a crack in the main weight bearing piece of wood. Its been repaired locally by screwing a reinforced strap to the cracked piece. Its impractical for me to return the item given its location. This may be a freak result but for me its a waste of time and money.

Perfect for a small garden
I bought two to finish off our little corner pergola. The benches fit perfectly. They are not too heavy, but surprisingly sturdy. They will definitely need to be stored inside during the winter though. It took me about half an hour to assemble one. Very pleased with them.
