About this product
A gate that disappears when you're not using it. This retractable safety barrier stretches across doorways, hallways or stairs up to 140cm wide, then rolls neatly back into its housing when you need the space clear. The mesh is see-through, so you can keep an eye on what's happening on the other side, and there's no bottom bar to trip over (particularly handy on stairs). One-handed operation means you can open and close it while carrying a child or laundry basket. The EZY-Check Indicator shows at a glance whether it's locked or unlocked.
The screw-fit installation keeps it securely in place, and the double locking system adds an extra layer of security. It closes automatically behind you, so there's no risk of leaving it open by mistake. The 90cm height is tall enough to contain curious climbers, and the sturdy mesh construction handles daily use without sagging. Suitable for children up to 24 months. It works indoors and outdoors (just bring it in during bad weather). The wide walk-through section makes it easy to pass through without squeezing, and minimal assembly means you can get it up and working quickly.

Customers Say
Compact, sturdy retractable gate with easy installation and neat retraction. Some find locking mechanism fiddly and installation tricky with skirting boards. Suitable for children and pets, but some safety concerns with gaps underneath.

Great gate
This is the second one we’ve purchased now.. really compact and out the way and does a great job. Easy to install but I’ll admit that it can be a little fiddly opening and closing

Works great
So far ao good. Installed it a few days ago, fittings seem very secure to the wall. The gate seems strong enough. From previous experience having one before, the only downfall to these gates when using for a child, is they can eventually figure out they can squeeze under the gate which is fun and something to note! Because of the awkward angle i need a gate at, this is the only type I can use for children and they're good gates and no catching your feet off the bottom like a metal gate.

Discreet, beautiful and easy to install
Love it. Discreet, and doubles as a tennis net. So easy to install, and barely notice it.

Fiddly installation but good quality once done.
I bought this 2 weeks ago and overall I'm happy with it. It had clearly been a returned item as a couple of the stickers used for attaching the gate to the walls when setting up had already been applied. All still in good condition but clearly already opened and the original purchasers had attempted set up but because it is a little tricky and fiddly had abandoned their attempt and returned the item. I'm quite determined with my DIY so didn't give up, improvised a work around and had it installed in place in about 20minutes. Once in place the gate works as it should and prevents our 9 month old climbing the stairs.

Needs more mounts.
It's okay. It would be better if it came with two mounts so it could be moved when a room's not needing to be gated. Every retractable gate I've ever purchased has had these included naturally; it just seems incomplete without them.

Great gate (for puppy)
Easy to install, locking is easy enough but once locked, I did need 2 hands to unhook the gate from the top and bottom as the first few times using it, its pretty stiff / awkward to unhook. Apart from that, its a great gate. I like the taller height as I got it for a puppy so even when he grows, he wont be able to jump over it. Looks nice and has good retraction. Would definately recommend.
