Great mic at an amazing price from Argos
I was not looking for this mic as it was too pricey for my budget. So when, by chance, I found it at Argos at a hard to believe price there were no second thoughts. Yes it is chunky and heavy and for this a bit difficult to accommodate but it feels very well built and it has very good specs (high sensitivity but resistant to high volume, low noise and with very good tone/sound). And very good reviews at a price 4-5 times the one I paid. I took it to a friend who produces music as an amateur but also helps semiprofessional singers and musicians and when he compared it with his mic from a very well established brand he thought mine sounded very good, probably better than his. And that was before I told him what I paid for it.... And to my eyes it looks absolutely gorgeous!

I Had to Look Twice at the Price...!
Absolutely AMAZED at this price! I had to look twice! This is an AWESOME XLR mic that rivals even some of the most high end pro mics. II'm currently using it for some pro-voiceover work!!

The goat! Killer microphone
The KingBee is the goat, the company went bust so you can pick these up at such a low bargain price. The are built like tanks are are heavy. It's a condenser microphone that sounds like a dynamic. No need for a Shure SM7B with this bad boy, no self noise, it just gives that lovely podcast sound. It's voiced on the dark side, maybe a slight lack air which you can add afterwards when processing. If you are youtuber, or a podcaster just buy this bad boy, it sounds so good, it this price it's just a ridiculous bargain. If you want to hear how good it sounds check out my youtube channel Lone Wolf

Bee's Knees
An absolute bargain for £24.99. These will easily hold their own against any other sub £200 microphone. They have a slightly darker sound with more emphasis on the low frequencies without sounding muddy, fairly neutral mids a nice roll off on the high frequencies. Great for vocals and acoustic guitar with no discernable noise, ideal for my home studio. I like the look of the microphone, as one reviewer quipped, it looks like it wants to be in a Pixar movie and I'm here for that. I should mention the weight, it's a heavy microphone and will require a sturdy mount to hold it. It also requires 48v phantom power which can be supplied from most audio interfaces or mic preamp. The biggest recommendation I can give, I bought a 2nd one.

Decent mic
A reasonably good large-diaphragm condenser mic. A little bit toppy, not much proximity effect. Excellent build quality and very good isolation basket. These mics have sold at $170 or £185. I paid £30 -- astonishing value.

What a bargain this microphone is at the price
As the saying goes. You can't go wrong at that price. A large microphone that can be used as a doorstop or a comedy lapel mic' for someone you don't like. I have yet to use it in anger but all seems to be good so far.

Excellent value for money
I bought this cos of a recommendation from a friend because it’s an incredible price for this mic. When originally released this retailed for over £200! Check out some reviews online and you’ll see. I’ve not set it up yet but I’ve no doubt it’s going to be great.
