The Argos Home Slatted Shoe Cupboard keeps your footwear organised and out of sight without taking over your hallway. Four shelves give you space for everyday trainers, work shoes, sandals and slippers, storing up to 12 pairs. Three of the shelves adjust to different heights, so you can fit taller boots and wellies when the weather turns. The slatted doors hide the clutter while letting air circulate, keeping things fresh inside. The black finish and handleless design sit neatly in modern hallways and entrances.
The freestanding frame fits against walls in tight spots, measuring 85.5cm high and 60cm wide. Shoes up to size 9 fit comfortably on the shelves. The wood effect finish wipes clean if you track in mud or dust. Wall fixings must be used to secure it safely, as it's over 60cm tall. Arrives flat-packed with clear instructions, two people needed for assembly.

Great capacity
Really happy with this. It was easy to put together, and has a good capacity for shoes. To fit larger shoes (above size 9) we simply turned the shoes and fit them in easily.

It’s ok
It’s just an ‘ok’ from me. Looks tidy but shelves aren’t positioned securely into place so they wobble around.

Very hsppy with my latest purchase. It looks great, lots of storage space for my shoes. Doors have slats for ventilation. Only negative point is that the doors are quite noisy on closing.

Modern looking shoe cabinet
After the original one I received had previously been put up by someone, I didn’t hold out much hope. But it’s a good little shoe cabinet. Sturdy and easy to build. Only downside is they aren’t soft closing hinges, which after a week of my children slamming the unit, we swapped to soft close hinges.

Pay attention to the assembly instructions
Assembly instructions are good, but I still made a mistake. The left and right vertical side panels, look the same but they are NOT. Unfortunately I only discovered this when I was inserting the shelves and they were not properly supported, so I had to dismantle everything and reverse the panels. I realised they were correctly marked so it was my mistake but pay attention to the correct ‘hand’. Apart from that the cabinet itself is fine.

The supplier has advised the following for the gaps between the shelves on the Slatted Shoe Cabinet - Black:
- Bottom to 1st shelf: 18.6cm
- 1st to second shelf: 17.3cm
- 2nd to 3rd shelf: 17.3cm
- 3rd shelf to top of unit: 16.5cm
The total internal distance from the base shelf to the underside of the top of the unit is 74.7cm.
