Great for security
This adds great functionality and security to any laptop, very easy to set up and use. The quality of the reader feels solid and does have a higher end feel. On the surface I used this for convenience of locking/unlocking my laptop when away from it for security reasons, I now have this linked up to a password manager which is fantastic all of my passwords in a secure fingerprint, I highly recommend using this if security is of importance to you to protect documents and passwords.

Fantastic piece of kit
A lot simpler than I thought. I had this up and running in a matter of minutes. Although my laptop didnt install the drivers automatically, it took minutes to find the correct drivers on Kensingtons support page. It then took seconds to install and a minite or 2 to change my login to use the scanner to access my computer instead of using passwords or pin numbers. The device is very unobtrusive, sticking out maybe a little more than my wireless mouse receiver. Very happy with this item and would recommend, definitely for those that forget yheir login details which i have been guilty of.

I’ve used this fingerprint scanner. In my opinion, it is one of the best and easiest fingerprint scanner. It’s plug and play, and easy to set up. would recommend this for top security as it adds great security.

Great piece of kit that curates privacy
This attached to your PC with absolute ease and creates a private barrier specially if you are using this on a multi operating station. Everyone can login who is authorised and keep their respective attributes on the same level. I love the fact that it plugs in and starts with extreme ease.

Easy to use and secure
I use windows laptop and I have a good habit of locking my screen everytime I get away from the screen. This fingerprint key is very handy as I can log back in at the touch of my fingertip and there is no need to enter my userId/password each time. It was easy to install. Just press into the usb port of the laptop and the drivers were installed. Definitely recommended for someone who doesn’t have a fingerprint reader on their laptop.

Additional security layer - Kensington VeriMark
The Kensington VeriMark fingerprint key is an inexpensive way to add additional security to your computer via Windows Hello. It requires Windows 10 or above and a USB A port. Plug and play, all you need is a Microsoft account and to register your fingerprint via the VeriMark dongle. You can register multiple fingerprints. Windows Hello will also ask you to add a PIN just in case you loose the fingerprint key or simply it stops recognising your fingerprint. When unlocking your computer place your finger over the black side of the dongle and your computer will instantly unlock. The dongle will show a white padlock when an unregistered finger is used and white when the correct finger is used to unlock the computer. I definitely recommend.
