It's very weak not strong

I bought online before couple a week. The design I love it but when I hung my 32" monitor it's not stand it's down and I returned back

Strong, easy to move monitor arm

The Kensington SmartFit monitor arm box was heavier and bigger than expected. My son (16) was adamant he wanted to assemble this himself so off I went for a cuppa! Half an hour later I’m being called upstairs as he can’t figure out the instructions. To be fair, they were quite confusing! I struggled to attach the arm to the desk as I felt that I was overtightening the screws but continued to tighten as it wasn’t clamping/holding the desk otherwise. After I pushed through that concern it was attached securely to the desk and was strong and sturdy. It is easy to adjust and position where you want it. Considering the weight of the arm, I was surprised at how easy it was to reposition. It’s great for a teenagers’ desk so that they can alternate between gaming and then moving the screen and having space for school work. The cover on the monitor arm slides on and off for cable management and keeps the workspace clear and clutter free….ideal when that’s part of the reason you want to get the screen of the desk. Overall, think the Kensington SmartFit monitor arm is great and would recommend to anyone wanting to move their monitor off their desk. A well-built piece of kit.

Hands down the best monitor arm I have ever used.

Amazing! I work from home and have needed a new monitor arm for a long time and this one is perfect. It was easy to set up. The clamp works perfectly. The colour guide for height is the most useful thing I have ever used. It adjusts with a little push from your finger and can be adjusted for multiple users.

Perfect choice as the monitor arm

Great adjustable single monitor arm. Very easy to install to different thickness table or desk. It has everything you need in the box - all screws, alem key and fittings I’ve been using it for a week and it’s very easy to move around the desk. You can twist monitor horizontally or vertically. It is very smooth to move around. Arm has a cable management so you can hide all the cables. I have other monitor arm but I would definitely recommend the Kensington SmartFit as a perfect choice.

Stand above the rest. Sturdy, strong, andversatile

The Kensington smart fit is very easy to set up and once the screws are tightened holds the monitor very well in place. Feels very sturdy and has the nice addition of being able to hide cables. It's nice to have it raised up as it gives more desk space now that it is no longer on a stand. Very easy to move about to have it exactly how you need and the ability to swap quickly from landscape to portrait is very handy especially when doing something text based.

Easy solution for extra desk space.

Exactly what I needed, easy to mount to the desk and clears so much space, it’s like having a brand new extra large desk. The metal arm is strong and the monitor stays put, mine is a 27” and it handles the weight perfectly. Easily recommend for someone like me, that needs extra room in its desk.

Brilliant TV arm

Fantastic product, incredibly easy to set up, with multiple ways to attach to desk, and works with various screen sizes. Honestly surprised me with how easy it is to adjust the location when there's a screen on the end of the arm, takes a very vary small amount of effort to do so. Very good

Sturdy VESA arm

This is a sturdy bit of kit. Feels solid, the articulations are smooth but strong and has some weight to the whole product. All in all, feels nice and secure. There are some cable management covers that help keep your desk looking all neat and tidy. It comes with both a G-clamp and a grommet hole clamp. Has all the Allen keys and bolts you need to adjust and secure in the bits and pieces. There are instructions, but its only images/diagrams with no text description, so you'll have to decipher it a little, but honestly its no problem. Its all assembled mostly, just need to insert the VESA plate when ready and choose what clamp style you want to use to secure to desk. If you use the grommet hole clamp, its a good idea to offset from centre of the hole so you can still use the hole for feeding cables through it. If using the G-clamp, depending on your table construction, it might be a good idea to place some spare solid wood top & bottom to protect the table from being crushed by the clamp as you tighten it and also adds some further stability. One of the biggest things you need to also consider if choosing this style of arm clamp, is if your table is tight against a wall... because the way the arm works, you may need some space for the elbow of the arm to protrude out from the rear and side of the desk, so you do need some clearance space for that.

Sturdy, space saving and super easy to install!

I work off 2 monitors and a laptop, giving me 3 screens, but as a homeworker, my space is limited and I don’t have a particularly big desk. This has freed up some much needed room by eliminating the base of one of my monitors and I will be purchasing a second one to do the same. Super easy to assemble, the only tool I needed was a screwdriver to remove the monitor base and install the monitor plate so you can slide it into the arm, all other tools included. I’ve clamped mine onto the desk but you can also drill through and clamp through the desk, if you prefer. Easy to adjust the direction and angle and tighten to hold in desired position, although I’d have been even quicker with another person standing behind the monitor to hold it and tighten it whilst I sat at my desk to make sure the position was right. I had this up and working in less than 10 minutes, though so it wasn’t that much of a chore! Love that it comes with wire clips to hide and tame all the cables too, a great feature and design wise, looks good, sleek, not too bulky and very capable of the job, great product.
