This is a replacement for one we had before, so already new the camera. One of the plug prongs have been damaged on our old one so not able to plug in

Excellent camera
This is a great camera for watching pets. I bought it to check on my guinea pigs when I am at work. The camera quality is good, clear, and the fact it can pan all the way around is excellent. I have had no connection issues etc. I dont usually leave reviews, but for anyone looking for a camera to check in on their pets this is great. It also records events so you can see when they moved around etc, I’ve caught some very cute clips!

Clear picture and easy set up
Well this is a great bit of kit. Wonderful price. Gives a very clear picture and you can set it to view your favourite angles or pan the room. I use it to monitor the cat when I’m out. You can also talk to them which spooks her out. She recognises my voice straight away. Simple set up with wifi. I’m impressed

Overall great product. Just wish it could be used through a window at night. During the day the visual, audio and visibility is great for checking outside. Indoors in works perfectly day and night. Rotation could be a little better.

Absolutely. As long as both cameras are registered under the same TP-Link account, they can be managed and viewed in the same Tapo App, regardless of their location or Wi-Fi network connection.

The supplier has advised the following for the Tapo C200 1080P Full HD Pan/Tilt Wi-Fi Home Security Camera:
"Based on our knowledgebase, most Tapo cameras, including the Tapo C200, only support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and cannot connect to 5GHz Wi-Fi networks. Please ensure your router broadcasts a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal and that the camera is within range of this network for proper operation. If your router is in another room, you may need to check the signal strength of the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi where you intend to place the camera. If needed, you can use Wi-Fi range extenders or mesh systems to improve coverage."

The Tapo C200 only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g/n), and it is not compatible with the 5GHz Wi-Fi band. Therefore, if your router broadcasts both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks (as most modern dual-band routers do), you will need to connect the C200 to the 2.4GHz network.

The Tapo C200 only supports Motion Detection. The Tapo camera sends a notification to your phone when motion is detected, or you can set an alarm for the camera.

The Tapo app cannot be downloaded to TV. While Tapo CentralHub (Tapo H500) has an HDMI port for connecting to a TV or monitor, allowing you to stream video from cameras/doorbells linked to Tapo H500 on a larger screen.

If you want to adjust the volume of your camera's microphone and speaker, please refer to the steps below:
1. Open the Tapo app on your phone and click on your camera card on the Home tab to enter its Live View page.
2. Tap the microphone icon, and then increase or decrease the volume of the camera's microphone as per your desire.
3. Tap the Talk icon and click the icon on the top right corner of the Talk page. Then you can adjust the volume of the camera's microphone and speaker.
