Helped clear a little pond.
Used this piece of kit to clear an old fish pond in our back garden from the previous owners. It was so easy to use and did the job quickly. We were impressed with the power it had and might keep it for emergencies as we renovate!

Good, sturdy pump
This pump came packed in a sturdy box. It is small and portable with a good weight. I used it to empty a small tank that had filled up with contaminated rain water and it got the job done in a steady, speedy fashion. It would have definitely taken me hours without it. The pump does not come with a hose though, which would have made the whole kit perfect. Would definitely recommened still.

Great little pump
This is a great little pump and can be submersed in up to 7 metres of water. I used it to empty my hot tub that had been sitting with water all winter. Took around 20 mins which has cut off hours that it’s taken me previously to drain. Be aware that it does not come with the hose or hose clips which you will need. If you have regular flooding, ponds or pools this little pump is a must and will cut your work down in no time.

As good as other more widley recognised brands.
We got this for two reasons, to help my parents with their flooded garden, as they live above a water table, and also to help empty both of our swimmings pools during the summer. I've got to say we weren't disappointed with either of the uses. I didn't get any photos unfortunately of my parents garden, but it definitely did the job! I think overall, it would have taken a max of 4 minutes to empty the dogs pool (in the pics). My only gripe is that you don't get a hose pipe with it and it's not explicitly clear when reading it that you don't. So you'll need to buy one and a coupler to attach it with. All in all though, it's a really good piece of kit and helps emptying to the bottom of the pool, without the dreaded water negotiation tactics at the end, trying to lift the pool as close to the nearest manhole or drain!

On checking I can see hoses from 19mm-38mm can be used. To achieve the best possible delivery capacity, select a hose with the largest possible hose diameter
of 38 mm (1 1/2“).

"They would be able to use it for this purpose however they would need to be careful that the water butt is free from debris beforehand".
