Swing, kick and spike your way to victory with Nintendo Switch Sports, a collection of sports for Nintendo Switch that puts you right into the action! Play together in person or online with family and friends, or challenge players around the world. In addition to customising your avatar with items collected from playing online, there are all kinds of ways to have fun, such as testing your ability in the Pro League where you can try to increase your rank by winning in the different sports.
Compete in six sports with real-world movements that model your actions in the game. You can choose from: Tennis: rally by gently swinging the Joy-Con controller at the right time. Bowling: roll the ball straight ahead, or give it a little curve. Chambara: Knock your opponent off the platform while attacking and defending.
Football: Use a gigantic ball to make dynamic plays. Enjoy matches with Joy-Con controllers to shoot and perform Diving Headers. By attaching a Joy-Con controller to the Leg Strap accessory included with the physical version of Nintendo Switch Sports (also available separately), you can play Shoot-out mode with intuitive kicking motions.
Badminton: Control your shots left and right while keeping the shuttlecock in the air. Swing left and right while keeping the shuttlecock in the air. Unleash powerful smash shots to gain the upper hand! Volleyball: Use a Joy-Con controller to serve, bump, set, and spike the ball.

Excellent sports game
We brought this game because I remember playing Wii sports when I was younger, this is a new take on that featuring so returning but also some new sports. It is a shame however so of the original sports did not return such as baseball and boxing which I used to love playing. But other than that the other sports are great and we’ve had endless amounts of fun playing it as a family. Our most played game is the bowling. Overall I’d highly recommend Nintendo sports for abit of family fun and competitiveness.

Hello there. The Nintendo Switch Sports Nintendo Switch Game can be used on Switch Lite but some of the games require access to Joy-Cons and these will be needed to play all of the games. I hope that this helps. Thanks for using Q and A.

On checking I can see this is compatible however Joy-Con 2 controllers do not fit inside the Leg Strap accessory, so it’s only possible to play the Football Shoot-Out mode using a Nintendo Switch Joy-Con.

To insert a games card on your Nintendo Switch:
-Open the game card slot cover located on the top-right side of the Nintendo Switch console.
-Hold the game card so that the label of the game card faces in the same direction as the Nintendo Switch screen
-Slide the game card into the game card slot until it clicks into place. If the game card seems difficult to insert, remove it and verify that it is facing in the correct direction.
-Once inserted, the software icon of the inserted game card will be displayed on the HOME Menu.
