I bought this mattress hoping that the low price I paid wouldn’t be a mistake and I’m happy to say it wasn’t! I did add a mattress topper before use, so I can’t say how comfortable it would be without one but it is comfortable, not too firm, quiet and stays in place (on a wooden slatted base) PLUS I’m waking up with no aches or pains, so I can say that it’s supportive. I’d say buy it and try it!

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Devon Essentials Single Mattress: ''There isn’t a specific timeframe and we couldn’t quote one as we have no control over how long our customers hold them in stock. In general though, as long as the bed base is going to arrive within a small number of weeks rather than months it should be fine to keep it rolled. It’s worth pointing out that regardless of this timeframe the mattress will not look its best until at least 48 hours after unrolling and may even improve further after a short period of actually being used.''
