Great Tumble Dryer
I only purchased the dryer a couple of weeks ago, but so far it seems to be very good! A vast improvement on my very ancient basic dryer. It has a very large capacity and dries very well

Disappointing tumble dryer
Had the tumble dryer for a short time. I bought it to replace an aging condenser dryer. It is not a particularly quiet machine. When turned on, it does not remember the last setting, instead it defaults to ECO which takes ages to dry clothes, much longer than my previous machine. My preferred setting does, however, eventually get the job done. It is also annoying that certain settings are only available via the app which I initially installed to have a look, but then removed.

Very quiet and efficient
Bought this as needed a new heat pump air dryer. So much quieter and more efficient drying. The old bush dryer often needed 2 or 3 runs to dry things properly where this dries first time.

Safety issues
Received letter to say don't use it due to safety issues and engineer would visit and no one turned up for over two months. We have asked for compensation but no response.

Very good value for money - lots of features but..
Only been used for a few weeks. Good featureset and works well in most situations - 'Bedding' feature in particular stops sheets and duvets getting tangled up. Downsides: 1. Bearings in drum poor quality, so there is a low frequency rumble throughout the house when it's running. The fan + condenser are pretty quiet though. 2. Doesn't do a good job of keeping the moist air within the dryer. Whilst most of the water is removed and goes to the cassette/drain, there is a lot of ambient humidity in the room after a cycle. Not sure if we have a leak, if it's been poorly assembled (leaks in seals etc) or the design isn't quite as robust as it could be. I think it represents good value for money, but if my budget was larger I'd look at a better brand. Don't think it's as well put together as it should be.

Hisense 5s heat pump tumble dryer
Ive used this for a few months now and its been fab. Its very quiet, the drumlight is useful. It comes with a useful shoe rack for drying shoes or trainers in the dryer so they dont bang about, its a good idea! It has a large10kg weight capacity, which is great for family washing and is wifi enabled. It has auto sense dry which is great as it only uses what it needs and that way saves you money. Hest pump technology means it uses a lower temperature and that way it protects clothing while still drying it. It has alot of great programme options also the water drum is a drawer that is easily accessible. It does a great job drying clothes. Would definitely recommend.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Hisense DH5S102BW 10KG Heat Pump Tumble Dryer - White: ''There is no need for professional installation, but when you install, you need to adjust the feet (bottom of machine) to make sure the whole machine is stable. Then check whether you need to connect a drain pipe. If not, or there is no drain pipe, the machine comes with a drain box.''
