Great overall product
I bought this a few weeks ago. Fantastic for those who want to free up the TV for other uses. The device itself plays really well and the ergonomics are almost identical to a PS5 controller. I have used the stream from Playstation and Cloud gaming features with PS+ and both work great on our home network with minimal latency.

I have had the PS Portal a couple of weeks and it works flawlessly (I have great internet/speed) Works very well with the cloud and PS Premium and the resolution is absolutely great.

PS Portal can connect to any Playstation account without owning a PS5. You dont need to download games or own a PS5. The games stream from the cloud like Netflix streams movies or, OPTIONALLY, from your own PS5 if you choose.
You can buy PS5 games from the Playstation store on your phone etc. These will be available to play on your Portal. Not all PS5 games support cloud streaming. Cloud streaming is a 13.50 per month PS Plus Premium service which includes a library of over 200 games.

While this can be used in this way, the connection will be the determine factor, you will need a Mi-Fi or mobile hotspot that allows connections over Wi-Fi to be able to use it this way. This is designed though to be used in the same household as the PS5.
