About this product
The Habitat Faro Bar Stools give you proper seating at the right height for breakfast bars and kitchen islands, and there's two in this set so everyone's got a spot. The solid oak frame's built to support daily use and stands up to bumps and knocks. A thickly woven paper cord seat and high back provide good support whether you're settling in for morning coffee or evening drinks. The footrest lets you rest your feet naturally while you sit. Each stool holds up to 100kg, so they're stable and secure for most people.
The smooth oak finish shows off the natural wood grain and wipes clean after spills. The woven paper cord seat's thick enough to stay comfortable during longer sits. Self-assembly's needed, and it's worth having two people for the build. Each stool weighs 7.35kg, so they're solid enough to stay put but light enough to move around when you need to. Dust or wipe with a damp cloth to keep them looking good.

Stylish but not good quality
They look very nice However, Chairs are not well constructed, they feel quite cheap, they were damaged and wobbly They are comfortable, though perhaps ever so slightly too high I had expected higher quality for the habitat name

They look good, but quality control is lacking.
They look really nice and added the texture I was seeking for my kitchen. I wasn't expecting flat pack, but on reflection it makes sense for the price. I have reduced 2 star because there's a lack of quality control. Splits on parts of the wood and the odd rough patch. I checked nothing was going to show too much or weaken the structure and decided I would keep them. Not wanting the hassle of sending them back. I think they would also benefit from something to cover the holes where it's screwed together.

Lovely bar stools
I picked these up about 2 weeks ago, they are easy to put together, comfortable and look great. They are very sturdy and Iām very happy with them!

Poor quality control
Initial impression on opening the box was good - appeared good quality and first stool assembled easily. With the second stool, on the last but one bolt it wouldn't fix as the recess for the bolt hadn't been drilled properly. Website was a waste of time for contacting Argos & only option was to phone. All they could suggest was to return to store. Returned to store with stools virtually fully assembled & new set ordered. Went back to collect & on checking when I got home found one of the fixings missing. Back to store again (10 miles round trip each time) and another set ordered just so I could get the 1 fixing needed. No facility to order just one part. Now assembled and all OK but will be very reluctant to buy Argos/Habitat furniture again.
