About this product
The Samsung RB34C600EBN EU Freestanding Fridge Freezer maximises its footprint with a bottom-freezer design and SpaceMax Technology, offering more interior space with thinner walls. It features All-Around Cooling to keep temperatures even, preserving freshness longer. The No Frost system eliminates ice buildup, while a non-plumbed water dispenser in the fridge and an ice dispenser in the freezer provide cold water and cubed ice without plumbing.
It's Wi-Fi enabled so you can control it through the SmartThings app, with electronic temperature control and a front display. Inside are 4 adjustable glass shelves, 2 salad crisper compartments, a quick chill compartment, and an egg tray. The freezer has 3 storage compartments and a fast freeze function for quick freezing. The reversible door opens to 135 degrees and has an open door alert to prevent leaving it ajar. It runs at about 35dB, has an energy rating of E, and comes with a 2-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Lack of physical control for temperature annoys
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, seems fairly good. Energy efficiency, supposedly good. The SmartThings interface gives you minimal control. It's not clear to me how to reverse the door, which I need to do, but I'm not particularly practical at these things. I don't really know what features I'd want, but for that money, I'd want more settings, an external temperature display, really. Even though you've got the app, it's still nice to be able to walk past your fridge and see what the temperature is.

Bought this fridge freezer two weeks ago. Very spacious. Quiet in operation. Temperatures in fridge and freezer section very constant. Fridge extremely well lit. Vegetable drawer has good capacity. Basic fridge freezer but does the job. Can be controlled by app but found less is sometimes more.

Great Fridge Freezer
Great fridge capacity. Good lighting inside. Like the digital display inside telling me current temperature. Already think I am saving energy versus my old fridge freezer. Only bought a couple of days ago so yet to try the SmartThings AI app but I’m sure it will be useful when I do. Was unsure about the colour steel black, but love it now it is in my kitchen.
