Not too cold on a wintry morning, kids can't slam it, fits where it's supposed to and not uncomfortable on the buttocks. Struggling to say much else, it's a toilet seat.

Seat swivelled out of position after around 2 weeks use. Due to plastic inserts coming apart in main hinge. Used superglue to try and fix which worked for a while, but they have come apart again.

The fixings on the Home Slow Close Wooden Toilet Seat - Pine are such that they have to be tightened manually and therefore, over time could loosen causing potential movement of the seat. These fixings just need to be periodically tightened to prevent the possibility of this happening.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Argos Home Slow Close Wooden Toilet Seat - Pine: The alloy hinges are hard to rust, but it should not contact with water directly as it will cause oxidation.
