About this product
Finished in black with white opaque glass shades, this simple floor lamp features both an uplighter for warm ambient light, and an adjustable reading light for bright directional lighting. Ideal beside a sofa or armchair, or to brighten any corner. Bulbs are not included with this lamp so you will also need to buy an E27 bulb (maximum 60W) and an E14 bulb (maximum 40W) to go with it.

As it's a lamp, there is no energy efficiency rating. The bulb you choose is what determines the energy rating.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Argos Home Father and Child Floor Lamp - Silver: I can confirm 60W and 40W means the traditional lamps. It is equivalent to LED 10W and 6W.

Our products change twice yearly so we are no longer able to provide exact lighting bulbs currently sold for this floor lamp. For the uplighter, you’ll need an E27 bulb (maximum 60W). This can be a standard incandescent bulb or an LED bulb with an E27 base.
For the adjustable reading light, use an E14 bulb (maximum 40W). Again, this can be either an incandescent or an LED bulb with an E14 base.
