Noisy
We were a little worried putting it together having read the reviews but if you use the manual as a guide rather than follow every step, it should take 2 of you around 2 hours to put together. We've been using it for a month now and the only complaint we've got with it is the noise it makes, we've tried tightening, loosening and spraying but to no avail. We've had to purchase noise cancelling headphones to be able to still use it.

Happy. Originally got it for cross trainer but am preferable liking it for the seated bicycle mode. Wanted something that didn't require motor as my treadmill motor broke

Super piece of kit
Managed assembly single handed, nicely designed and sturdy. Works really well, a lot quieter and smoother than the previous cross trainer.

Good quality, difficult to assemble
Using this bike is great. It is exactly what we were looking for at a good price. It was quite difficult to assemble though with instructions that were pretty vague to say the least

Decent quality and easy to use. Fab that it’s two pieces of equipment in one so great as a space saver. Awful instructions and was difficult to put together but definitely worth the money and stress of putting together.

Don't buy this!!
I bought this a few weeks ago and took it back the day after. It's a solid piece of kit, but the crosstrainer pedal bolts did not fit. Either the thread was too small or the bolts were too big. It took me ages to unpack it all and re-box it to take it back to Argos. All being fair to Argos they refunded straight away within a few days so no complaints there, but I would not recommend this item at all.

We found the same at first but then reread the assembly booklet and found that on stage 2 we had not joined the tension pieces together correctly. Look at the inset pictures carefully, and make sure the hook is in the correct place. The inset picture is small and not easy to make out. We undid the part and joined the pieces correctly, not without difficulty, and this made a vast improvement. The different tension levels work correctly now.

The resistance can seem tough as first due to it being new and also getting use to using the item.

The max user weight is 110kg, and yes, the arms will move when using as a cross trainer.
