The Brooklyn Bedside Chest keeps essentials right where you need them, beside the bed for late-night reads or morning tea. Made with solid pine and a smooth wipe-clean surface, it handles everyday spills and marks. Two drawers provide space to store books, glasses, chargers and more within arm's reach. Metal handles add shine and are easy to grip, while smooth metal runners let drawers glide open and close without sticking. The simple groove detail gives it a clean look that suits most bedroom styles.
The grey finish keeps things neutral, so it'll fit in alongside your existing furniture. It's a compact size that doesn't take up much floor space, ideal for smaller bedrooms or tight spots between the bed and wall. Avoid at all costs. Very difficult to assemble unlike Ikea furniture and I’m a competent DIY’er! Nothing pre drilled holes for the legs. It’s pot luck whether you get each one and the same place. Meaning you get a wobbly table. Too easy to put something in its wrong place. Item was also damaged. Customer service wouldn’t budge and no one had any replacements in stock within a 30 mile radius of my address. Put me off Argos.

Sturdy quality, look good
Bought these two bedside tables in Jan 2026 - also bought two matching wardrobes. Fairly easy to put together- I did make a mistake with one screw and split the wood however it is not visible from the front. This is my only criticism that all the screws came in one box and not labelled/bagged separately - note there are 2 screws that look similar one has a pointed end the other flat.

Extremely complicated to put together, and the screws don’t allow the drawers to close properly ( yes, I used the correct ones) Followed the instructions with a fine tooth comb but all in all not great for the price.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Brooklyn 2 Drawer Bedside Table - Green: The back panel is 3mm HDF panel, brown on one side and white on the other side.
The back panel can be assembled with the white side facing out. The back panel are in a groove at the top panel and on the outside of the frame legs in the sides, attached with small nails.

The colour used on all grey Brooklyn products has the code NCS S 4500N.
This is just a standard grey colour.

I have checked on this and I can confirm a medium flathead and medium crosshead screwdriver is needed, along with a small hammer. An allen key is provided.
