About this product
The Habitat Brooklyn 2 Drawer Bedside Table keeps your bedroom tidy and everything you need within easy reach at night. It's made from solid pine with a two-drawer design that gives you plenty of space for books, glasses and bedtime essentials. The smooth surfaces wipe clean quickly after everyday spills and dust. Metal handles add a touch of shine and feel solid when you pull the drawers open. A simple decorative groove design gives it character without fuss. The finish brings a bit of colour into your space while staying calm and understated.
The drawers are fitted with smooth-gliding metal runners, so they open and close quietly without sticking or scraping. There's room inside each drawer for folded clothes, charging cables, or personal bits you want out of sight. The compact size fits neatly beside most beds without blocking walkways or taking up too much floor space. If it's over 60cm high, it must be securely attached to the wall to prevent overturning, that's really important for stability. Self-assembly is needed, one person can manage it with the included instructions. Comes with a one-year guarantee from the manufacturer.

Avoid at all costs. Very difficult to assemble unlike Ikea furniture and I’m a competent DIY’er! Nothing pre drilled holes for the legs. It’s pot luck whether you get each one and the same place. Meaning you get a wobbly table. Too easy to put something in its wrong place. Item was also damaged. Customer service wouldn’t budge and no one had any replacements in stock within a 30 mile radius of my address. Put me off Argos.

Sturdy quality, look good
Bought these two bedside tables in Jan 2026 - also bought two matching wardrobes. Fairly easy to put together- I did make a mistake with one screw and split the wood however it is not visible from the front. This is my only criticism that all the screws came in one box and not labelled/bagged separately - note there are 2 screws that look similar one has a pointed end the other flat.

Extremely complicated to put together, and the screws don’t allow the drawers to close properly ( yes, I used the correct ones) Followed the instructions with a fine tooth comb but all in all not great for the price.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Brooklyn 2 Drawer Bedside Table - Green: The back panel is 3mm HDF panel, brown on one side and white on the other side.
The back panel can be assembled with the white side facing out. The back panel are in a groove at the top panel and on the outside of the frame legs in the sides, attached with small nails.

The colour used on all grey Brooklyn products has the code NCS S 4500N.
This is just a standard grey colour.
