The surfaces are easy to wipe clean, and the spacious drawers are fitted with smooth-gliding metal runners. Kitting out the whole room? Avoid at all costs. Very difficult to assemble unlike Ikea furniture and I’m a competent DIY’er! Nothing pre drilled holes for the legs. It’s pot luck whether you get each one and the same place. Meaning you get a wobbly table. Too easy to put something in its wrong place. Item was also damaged. Customer service wouldn’t budge and no one had any replacements in stock within a 30 mile radius of my address. Put me off Argos.

Sturdy quality, look good
Bought these two bedside tables in Jan 2026 - also bought two matching wardrobes. Fairly easy to put together- I did make a mistake with one screw and split the wood however it is not visible from the front. This is my only criticism that all the screws came in one box and not labelled/bagged separately - note there are 2 screws that look similar one has a pointed end the other flat.

Extremely complicated to put together, and the screws don’t allow the drawers to close properly ( yes, I used the correct ones) Followed the instructions with a fine tooth comb but all in all not great for the price.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Brooklyn 2 Drawer Bedside Table - Green: The back panel is 3mm HDF panel, brown on one side and white on the other side.
The back panel can be assembled with the white side facing out. The back panel are in a groove at the top panel and on the outside of the frame legs in the sides, attached with small nails.

The maximum load the Habitat Kids Brooklyn 2 Drawer Bedside Table - White can hold is 30kg. Providing the fish bowl weighs less than this when set up it will be suitable.

The colour used on all grey Brooklyn products has the code NCS S 4500N.
This is just a standard grey colour.

I have checked on this and I can confirm a medium flathead and medium crosshead screwdriver is needed, along with a small hammer. An allen key is provided.
