Frustrating
I switched from a Dyson and have three cats in a one bedroom flat. What was once an enjoyable task is now endlessly frustrating, with the vacuum overheating every 10 seconds and cutting out, and constantly leaving piles of fur everywhere which need to be gone over twice. The vacuum constantly gets jammed and blocked, and I did take it fully apart once to clean which helped for a week or two. Surely you don’t need to constantly take apart in order to have it working well? Would not recommend for cat owners with carpets.

Very disappointed the previous model was better
Purchased in September 2025 for homes with dog hair, the hose at the head gets clogged and I have to use a stick to clear the blockage. Suction is not strong enough and I need to move over the floor several times.

Not as good as the Blade 4
Bought to replace a Blade 4 which died. It is heavier and bigger, the “easy empty “ bin is more difficult remove for cleaning. Yes you can empty it easily but you have to fight with it to get the canister off to properly clean. The bendy bit in the pipe is very stiff to bend and also makes it wobbly. I do not know how well it cleans as we sent it back before we used it. I’ll but a new Blade 4.

I bought this a couple of weeks ago I like the hoover I got the Pet pro one I'm disappointed in battery Ife and emptying it is bit tricky the button is very stiff that's why I've given it 4 stars apart from that it's lightweight good little Hoover.

Not so great
Having had Vax products before I am disappointed with this purchase . 1. The head is bulkier than my previous Vax pet vacuum so it doesn’t fit under my sofa. 2. The suction on a normal setting is poor. 3. The battery doesn’t last long at all on the higher setting ( and you need a higher setting for sufficient pick up!) 4.The vacuum is hard to push on carpet and the motor cuts out if the carpet is thick. 5. I found pick up from edges (eg. where the floor meets the skirting or kitchen base units) not as good as previous vax vacuums I’ve had. Two advantages, it is now easier to empty the dirt chamber and the filter is easier and a more convenient place to remove for cleaning.

Disappointed battery runtime
Got the VAX HomePro Pet vacuum less than 2 weeks ago and the battery runtime has been a disappointing 15 minutes of full charge despite specification seen before purchase advertised 45 minutes battery runtime.

Yes, it is stable enough to self‑stand for short periods. It is not engineered to stay like that indefinitely or survive a knock, like a child bumping it or a pet brushing against it.

They will fit, but it will be tight as there is a slight design difference in the way it sits on the vax.

I can confirm the bin can easily be emptied using the slide function. The tools are also easily interchangeable.
