Bought two of the pedal bins around two weeks ago and both have broken, the pedal no longer lifts the lid on either of them.

Save your money
Returned. Flimsy and didn't work from the start. Pedal wouldn't work and slipped out every time we fixed it. Soft-closing lid lasted five minutes. Insert for holding bins in is flimsy and not really useful. Very disappointed. Cheap but cheap quality too.

It catches the bag when removing. So if you have a full bin and/or a not to strong bin bag, you are going to make a mess.

Terrible construction!
We bought this bin, got it home and discovered it only opened at about a 50 degree angle. Which means you would always be struggling to get the rubbish in the bin. Took it back right away. Totally rubbish bin! Yes, cheap, but not fit for purpose.
