Perfect for people with dementia
I bought this for my aunt who has fairly advanced dementia and is in a care home. She has always loved cats but is unable to have pets now. I take the car with me every time I visit and she lights up when she sees it, as do a lot of the other residents. It gives us something to talk about as she doesn't understand much about the world anymore, so conversations can be difficult. It has transformed visits from an awkward interaction, where she doesn't know who I am or what I'm talking about, into something positive where we both fuss over the cat. She interacts with it like it's real, counts it's whiskers over and over, loves it when it purrs and mews and she can hold and fuss it. She gets to experience the joy of an animal without any worry if she drops it, squeezes too hard etc. Highly recommend for animal lovers with dementia.

Joy for all companion
We were quite disappointed with the cat. While it had the characteristics of a cat with purring and meowing it was quite clunky and it was not a cuddly companion because of the mechanics which were easily felt through the poor packing.
