Bought for a relative who was worried about security. After they couldn’t sleep because of their phone pinging with notifications, modified the sensor window to cover an area about 1 metre from their door. Didn’t ping his phone when someone knocked at their door!!

Bought these to keep an eye on my mum and make sure she’s safe in her home after a couple of falls. They are unobtrusive, easy to install. The pictures are clear both during the day and night. Motion and sound can be muted, which is especially useful during the day when mum is moving around. There’s a rewind facility and it records as well, so no monthly charge. Excellent value for money.

Great product…. Not so good Argos!
Fantastic camera, does thd job very well. You need a mini SD card for recording, but works great either way. Good night vision and great movement. Only 3 stars…. because of Argos! Bought the 2 pack, but turned out I only needed one - Argos wouldn’t take it back as I’d opened the plastic wrapper and tried it to see how it worked!! Beware don’t open the wrapping if you think you may have to return it 😆 Worked out ok, as I gave one to a friend for their place.

SD Card is Not Essential: You do not need to insert an SD card if you only want to check in live or receive alerts.
Live View & Alerts: Without an SD card, you can still:
Watch live footage remotely via the app.
Receive motion detection alerts directly to your phone.
The SD card is only required if you wish to record and store video footage. For simply monitoring your dog while you’re out, it’s completely optional.
