Does what it says on the tin.
Does not work with batteries and being plugged in, so if you have to pull out the plug, the device stops working, as there are no batteroes to back it up.

Weather station
Excited to buy to start and use, but was quickly disappointed with all the palaver of trying to set it up. The link between the outside sensor never worked. A very frustrating set up, when I expected just put batteries in and everything be up and running. I ended up returning product and refunded. I have rarely ever returned a product to Argos and was disappointed to have to do so.

Not as described in online catalogue. Do not buy.
This is NOT a radio-controlled clock. It does have a wireless outdoor temperature sensor but does not have the accurate time keeping of a radio -controlled clock. It does not have a barometric pressure reading either. I tried to complain through the chat and eventually got a human who told me that I would be refunded in 5 days and instructions for returning would happen in up to seven days. That was over two weeks ago and no refund nor return instructions. I took the unit to a local Argos store for a refund as per the instructions on the web-site but they said that as the unit was for online ordering only they could not give me a refund in store. So Weather Station not as described in the catalogue, return info on website not accurate for this item and the customer service via the chat is useless. No marks out of five. Even this review app can't reflect this! I'll be buying my next tech from other sources.

Good for 5 year olds
The buttons on the back to programme need a pencil or something & the functionality is rubbish. To be fair if it wasn't ARgos's computers all went down I was taking it back - then the gates were locked! If u refund me ARgos I'll return it. Not your best product.

• Press the mode key to switch between time mode and alarm mode.
• When time mode is selected, press and hold the mode key for 2 seconds to enter the time setting mode. This displays in an order of year > month> date > weekday display > language selection > 12 /24 hours > hour > minute > exit.

Hi Peter,
It sounds like your Menkind LED Weather Station might not be receiving the radio-controlled time signal, which is why you're having to set the time manually. Here are a few reasons why this might be happening:
Signal Interference: The clock relies on a radio signal to update the time automatically. If there are electronic devices or metal objects nearby, they might be interfering with the signal reception.
Location: If the weather station is placed in a location with poor signal reception, such as a basement or a room with thick walls, it might struggle to receive the time signal. Try placing it near a window or in a more open area.
Manual Setting Mode: Sometimes, the device might be set to manual mode by default. Check the settings to ensure that the automatic time update feature is enabled.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A
