About this product
Glancing at the weather before you head out becomes second nature when you've got the right setup. The Menkind LED Weather Station gives you animated weather icons, indoor and outdoor temperature readings, and a forecast that includes an ice warning - all displayed on a single wireless unit. It doubles as an alarm clock with date and weekday display, plus sunrise and sunset times and moon phases for anyone who likes keeping tabs on what's happening outside.
The wireless outdoor sensor sends data back to the main station, so you'll see both indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity without stepping outside. Radio controlled time keeps everything accurate, and you can mount it on the wall or use the included foot stand. Runs on 5 AAA batteries, which aren't included in the box.

Accurate and clear weather station with easy setup and good design. Some issues with outdoor sensor connectivity, lack of radio-controlled clock, short power cable, and no barometer. Mixed experiences with battery use and customer service.

No frills weather station
I bought this as a replacement for an old weather station whose transmitter had failed. It was difficult to find out what power supply was supplied. When I opened the box I found there was only a very short (80cm approx.) USB A lead, no power supply. Setting up was a doddle although the buttons are recessed slightly and easier to push with a pencil or similar. The transmitter connected after a minute or so. The clock has to be set manually as there is no radio facility, although it keeps time accurately. It's nice that the min/max temperature is displayed all the time without the need to push buttons.

Weather station
My weather station has arrived its absolutely great really accurate weather wise and time. It was so easy to set up I like it working by electric but it can be battery operated and the outside weather station part gives you the outside temperature and the percentage of how likely it is to rain. It is bright clear and easy to read and understand it also has an alarm function

Weather Station
All works fine except the picture of the weather. We're in a mini heatwave and it shows cloudy and rain. The other data seems fine though.

New outdoor weather station.
My last weather station had stopped working - it was old - and needed replacing. I checked on line and the Argos one seemed ideal and was available that day, so I went and bought it straight away. I am very happy with it and had it working within minutes.

Not very useful
Unfortunately I had to return this item. It looks very smart, however the outside sensor is not weatherproof! So not very useful.

New weather machine...
It works very well, and has been very accurate, so far. I bought it to replace one that I've had for years. The gauge that went outside finally gave up the ghost, so I needed a new one. The only sad thing about it is there is no barometer. I can live without that.

Hi Peter,
It sounds like your Menkind LED Weather Station might not be receiving the radio-controlled time signal, which is why you're having to set the time manually. Here are a few reasons why this might be happening:
Signal Interference: The clock relies on a radio signal to update the time automatically. If there are electronic devices or metal objects nearby, they might be interfering with the signal reception.
Location: If the weather station is placed in a location with poor signal reception, such as a basement or a room with thick walls, it might struggle to receive the time signal. Try placing it near a window or in a more open area.
Manual Setting Mode: Sometimes, the device might be set to manual mode by default. Check the settings to ensure that the automatic time update feature is enabled.
I hope this helps.
