Good for the price
Had this for a month now and I am quite happy with it. Comes with a 16GB memory card but will accept a 32GB one which will Make it record for longer. It's quite a slow response after pressing buttons but if you take your time setting it up then it works just fine.

Good value for money.
The dash cam comes with a memory card so that’s a big deal as often they don’t. It’s easy to install on the windscreen with the sucker attachment. It turns on with the ignition and off when the engine shuts off. Seems to do what I need.

The supplier has advised the following for the Menkind RED5 HD Dash Cam:
For this item, the car camera will enter into a default recording mode when this is turned on, no matter whether you are driving or not. The recording will stop once you turn off the car engine though if you are using the car charger to power the camera.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Menkind HD Dash Cam: ''Going off of the instruction manual, it doesn’t say. I would assume that once the SD card is full you will need to cull the footage and then start again.''

The camera power source can be either Li-ion rechargeable battery or 12/24V car charger. So does not have to be connected to the car if preferred.
