Pretty good
This is the first pair of clippers I’ve bought and we’ve used it once on our rescue dog who is very nervous. It’s not too loud and she seemed happy with us trimming her. Could have done with a slightly longer setting but it trimmed very well.

Large Long haired dog
I have a very larged hairy dog and this was perfect to cut him short for the summer.

Excellent cheap clippers
Great set of clippers. Definitely recommend. Easy to use. I have a springer spaniel and it went through her coat beautifully. Low noise, easy to hold and manoeuvre about. Runs for a long period of time. I used it over 2 hours period (taking my time) and ran perfectly. Low vibrations so was comfortable for her and I while taking her coat down a level.

Feels expensive!
I was nervous about using this but it feels so comfortable and safe to use. Clear instructions and neat case for all the attachments. It’s quiet and easy to grip and best of all Bobby 🐶 likes it!

Does the job for a good price
Could find professional groomer open due to heatwave, so I had to buy animal clippers or else I would have had a boil in the bag dog! Glad I did. Price was competitive. Came with guide as to how to clip dog (this was my first time). The result was a bit Vidal Baboon, but the dog is now able to deal with the heat!

Hi Jazz, the Wahl Rechargeable Pet Clipper is suitable for fine, short and coarse coats. There are different Maltipoo fur types so i cannot recommend this clipper without knowing yours. However if your dogs fur type falls under 'fine, short and coarse' then this clipper will be suitable. I can recommend the Wahl Smart Clip Dog Clipper Kit which is suitable for all fur types and can be found on Argos.co.uk. I hope this helps and thank you for using Argos Q&A.
Hi Betty, no the battery light is red which is to indicate charging is taking place and it won't turn green once charged. I hope this helps and thank you for using Argos Q & A.

Hi Flo, miniature Schnauzers typically have a double coat which the Wahl Performer Rechargeable Dog Clipper are not suitable for. I hope this helps and thank you for using Argos Q & A.
