About this product
The Maine Ottoman Bed from Julian Bowen gives you a comfortable place to sleep and plenty of hidden storage underneath. It's a kingsize frame with an end-lift ottoman base that reveals a large compartment, ideal for storing bedding, pillows or seasonal items you don't need every day. The wooden frame keeps things sturdy, while sprung slats support your mattress and allow air to circulate. The included headboard completes the look and adds support when you're sitting up reading or watching television.
The ottoman lifts from the end and opens smoothly, giving you access to storage space that measures 29.5cm high. The wooden frame stands up to daily use, and the grey finish blends with most bedroom colour schemes. It supports a maximum user weight of 220kg, so there's capacity for two adults. Self-assembly is required, and it's easier with two people. The bed includes fixings and clear instructions. Comes with a one-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Frustrating - not white and broken
I am quite disappointed with my purchase. Although the description indicates the bed is white, the actual colour is off-white/beige, which is not what I expected. Furthermore, one of the internal spare parts that supports the mattress arrived broken, which is very frustrating.

It’s not white
The bed is listed inaccurately as white and it is not. I am financially out of pocket after buying this bed and despite acknowledgement that ARGOS are knowledgeable of this issue it is still for sale misguiding others in the same way. Poor Customer Values

Ottoman Bed
I assembled this bed and within 24th so a wooden support had broken off, this was factory fitted. This has also happened to a friend of mines bed,the same fault. Generally it’s average quality, I wouldn’t recommend buying one.

Good looking bed
I am pleased with the bed, though there are a couple of small parts missing, and not obvious way of fixing the base of the storage compartment. Need advice, but not able to get in touch with manufacturer. Very frustrating.
