About this product
The GFW End Lift Ottoman Bed creates extra bedroom storage where space is tight. The base lifts from the foot end to reveal a lined storage area holding 683 litres, enough for seasonal bedding, pillows or folded clothes. A hydraulic lift system supports the weight, letting you raise and lower the base smoothly. The wooden frame is upholstered in linen-look fabric with a simple stitched headboard that suits most bedroom styles. It includes a Sleepy Castle Bonnell mattress with a cushion top layer and knit cover for airflow, keeping things fresh overnight. The medium-firm feel provides broad support.
The base sits on wooden slats that distribute weight evenly and keep air circulating. The storage area runs the full length and width of the bed frame, accessible every time you lift the base. The mattress rotates head to foot regularly to maintain even wear, there's no flipping needed. Plastic feet keep the frame stable and lift it slightly off the floor for cleaning underneath. Self-assembly required, instructions included and two people recommended for ease. Comes with a manufacturer's one year guarantee for peace of mind.

Great for an occasional bed
It’s a 2 person assembly and was relatively easy to do. Mattress isn’t great but ok for occasional use with a topper. Looks lovely and the storage is great

Great bed, not as great mattress
Bought for my 11 year old son, the bed it’s self is great! Sturdy nice to look at, but the mattress he said he could feel the springs in it (he’s a slim lad) I’ve just bought a mattress topper and it’s fine now!

Comfortable and needed storage
I bought this bed a month ago for my grandson who has out grown a single bed..plenty of storage, easy for him to use. Has said its very comfortable and gets a good night's sleep.

Good bed for an economy purchase
The bed is nice looking and easy to put together- although I was unaware that it was self assembly when purchasing. Also I selected an option for cream colour but that doesn't exist only neutral. Fortunately the colour looks OK with the rest of the room, but was a little disappointed by that, hence the 4 stars not 5.

Hi there,
The GFW End Lift Small Double Ottoman Bed with Mattress - Grey is 135cm wide as this accommodates the frame in addition to the mattress of 120cm wide.
The equivalent double bed has a width of 150cm, again to accommodate the bed frame.
