What a bargain
I bought this mattress for my new to me caravan, absolutely chuffed to bits, it's perfect, I put it in the caravan yesterday and lied down on it to try it out and nearly fell asleep straight away. It is so comfortable for me, I bought the medium firm otherwise and the price I paid for it, well what else is there to say an absolute perfect bargain

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Argos Home Carlton 800 Pocket King Mattress.
We can confirm that the ticking fabrics on this mattress are treated with flame retardants to ensure that they meet the requirements of the Furniture and Furnishings Fire Safety Regulations.
This is the case for many mattress ticking fabrics.
There is some odour with all new mattresses, part of which may come from the treatment on the covering materials.
This odour does fade quite quickly if the mattress is left to air for a day or two.
It is likely that some odour will remain for some time after that but it is very rare that we hear of customers finding this a problem.

“ There are 435 springs in the mattress. The total spring count is based on the king size which would have 800. The smaller the size the less springs, so the single would have 435 springs. ”

"Yes, all mattresses sold in the UK have to have a defined level of resistance to ignition. All our mattresses are tested frequently to confirm that they comply with requirements of BS7177 (Low Hazard) which ensures that they are safe to use in the home. (BS7177 is for domestic use only).
As for the fire safety label, every mattress has the required FR label sewn into the head end seam. This is a British safety standard."
