The Beurer LS 06 Luggage scale is ideal for weighing your luggage when travelling. Small and handy with a strap and additional measuring tape (1m/3 ft). Automatic hold function, also suitable for weighing other objects such as parcels blue backlighted LCD display; 40kg / 88lb max capacity and 10 g graduation; switch between g/oz/kg/lb. Dead handy
Recently went on a long haul trip - and weighed our suitcases on the bathroom scales - and adjusted the amounts in each to make sure we didn't exceed the limit (20kg limit - 18.8kg in one, and 19.4kg in the other). Packing to come home - suddenly realised that we had no way of checking the weights of the suitcases. 20 minutes of picking them both up - taking bits out of one / putting them in the other - until they 'felt' the same; but still thinking that we might be doing the same again at the check-in at the airport. This was just completely unnecessarily stressful. We haven't used it yet - but this scale will be a Godsend next time we go away! Can't believe we didn't think to buy one before?!?

After 1 holiday already breaking down
The backlit screen starts flickering and struggles with weights above 25kg and the whole thing bends as it's made of plastic, doesn't fill me with confidence this will last my next holiday. I regret buying this now.

Great digital tool
I bought this to weight my luggage for the plane. My old measure has a round dial and it is mechanical. So trying to hold it still long enough to get an accurate measurement was a nightmare. This one locks onto the weight and sticks. Perfect, very accurate. Wish I'd bought it years ago.

Easy to use and accurate
Bought this before travelling, like most people, and it was quick and easy. I was impressed by the accuracy which matched the weigh in at the airport. The build feels not too sturdy but that's a first impression which may change.

Replacement Item
Our old scales had stopped working and I was looking for a replacement. I can't understand why they have a tape measure (my last ones had a more useful light) but other than that they do what they have been bought for and seemed to be close to the airport weighing scales. I read the review about the battery not lasting long and I was glad I did. We needed to replace the battery with a new one whilst we were on holiday. The battery needed is a button battery (not C battery).
