About this product
The Habitat Adeline Round Coffee Table gives you a place to put your feet up and your drinks down, with hidden storage for remotes, magazines and all those bits that clutter up the living room. It's got a clever reversible lid that flips from a light oak-look tray surface for serving drinks to a padded boucle cushion when you want to rest your feet. The cream boucle finish feels soft and brings a touch of warmth to your living space. There's storage underneath the lid, so you can tuck away everyday items and keep the room tidy.
The round shape works well in smaller rooms or where you've got traffic passing from different directions. It's made with a wood effect finish that's easy to wipe clean after spills. The sturdy design holds up to 150kg, so it'll support trays, books and even if someone perches on the edge. Simple one-person assembly, all fixings provided. Covered by a one-year guarantee.

Good design but poor finish
This table overall looks great and is very functional. However, it came with a black mark on the wooden side of the lid that does not come off, and trying to get it off has made it worse. Argos customer service initially said they would send me a replacement for the lid once it came back in stock, but they are now saying I need to speak to the store, which makes me doubt I will ever get it. I don’t want to return the table as I have got rid of the box and it’s fine otherwise. I suspect the wood finish is an issue with this line of tables - we previously got the Ingo coffee table which we returned because it also had a mark on the wooden lid. It’s a shame oas it would have been perfect otherwise.

Yes, the legs need to be assembled by inserting them into the designated slots and turning them clockwise to tighten. If you choose not to attach the legs, the table can still be used, but it will be shorter in height.
