I bought this to reduce my electric bill. My old Bosch condenser dryer still works fine after 12 years but uses a lot of power. This new heat pump dryer saves me about £1 per wash or £100 a year compared to my old dryer. It uses less 600 watts per hour which also means I can run it off my solar power station saving a further £50 a year. So it should pay for itself within 4 years. The dryer takes about 2 hrs for an average mixed load (about 30 mins longer than the old dryer). My biggest concern about going to a heat pump tumble dryer was the perceived ‘not fully dried’ issue - but so far it dries just as well as my old dryer and the clothes feel better and are easier to iron. It’s a little quieter than the old dryer but not quiet enough to run overnight at cheap rate - but as I can run it for free through the solar powerstation this is not a problem. Easy to clean the filters. It’s early days , but this looks to have been a great purchase.

Amazing product
I decided to pay that bit extra for a quality condenser dryer. I wasn't disappointed. It dries clothes quickly and has the technology to change the times its on. Would highly recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second Bosch heat pump dryer. Unfortunately the first ones condenser failed after three years. I didn't consider any other make when coming to get a replacement as they as so good.

Improved Heat pump Tumble Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Previously had a Series 4 condenser tumble dryer, about 9 years old which had been well used as we look after foster children do it was in use about 5 times a week, on average. It was starting to fail, thermostat failing, not drying clothes fully. Decided to upgrade and settled on a Series 4 Heat pump dryer, price was good. Noticeable that clothes were drying well so they could be used and worn straight away. Electricity usage appears to have reduced which is a benefit not expected. New machine fits in well with out dishwasher and washing machine, also Bosch. Well pleased.
