About this product
The Hotpoint HR620RH Electric Ceramic Hob takes the hassle out of everyday cooking with easy-to-use dial controls and helpful visual indicators that let you know when zones are still too hot to touch. With 4 cooking zones offering power from 1.2kW up to 2.1kW, there's plenty of room for family meals and weekend cooking. The front-mounted dials give you quick, tactile control over heat levels, and the boost function brings pans up to temperature fast when you're in a rush or need water boiling quickly.
Residual heat indicators light up to show which zones are still warm after cooking - handy for safety and for keeping plates or sauces at serving temperature. The built-in timer helps you manage multiple pans at once, and the safety cut-off automatically switches the heat off if left unattended, giving you extra reassurance in a busy kitchen. It's designed for built-in installation and needs hardwiring into a dedicated cooker point, backed by a 10-year parts and 1-year labour guarantee so you can cook with confidence.

Looks good
Honestly cannot really review this as it still has to be connected (and used) but the prospect of a £100 voucher for leaving a simple review could not be ignored. Looks good in situ, though!

Problem controls
The controls are difficult as it is easy to leave Hob on when you think it is off .A tiny unalinement causes this. I almost set fire to kitchen as a result.I am still thinking about returning Hob but I am old and settling for turning off at plug.

Works great
Bought a fdw weeks ago to replace previous broken hob. No issues so far and working great.

Not so good.
I've been using this hob for the last week, and it's badly marked already. Also, the "knob" style controls make the hob and the knobs difficult to clean. I miss the easy wipe advantage of my old hob touch-sensitive controls! It's also hard to see the position of the particular knob, whether it's on number one or number six (there is a line on the top of the knob, but its the same colour as the rest of the knob... black! Unfortunately, these disadvantages out-weigh the advantage of having the top left ring over-size. Also, it would be very handy (and safe), if an illuminated light lit up next to the appropriate knob indicating which ring was on... there is an lit indication of a "hot" ring at the lower center of the hob (better than nothing), but its in the wrong place! It's a step in the right direction (the one ring over sized), but alas Hotpoint have blown it regarding the rest of the design.

Works well, however...
Although it works as it should, it has already strange marks like bubbles below the surface. Took two weeks to come!
