Beautiful and heats very fast, so be careful on that one!

I bought this a month ago and fitted it this week.being a Hotpoint which I bought before years ago is of excellent quality and good value.would recommend.its all good.

Has not been fitted long (due to issue with install) so can't comment on it's reliability, it is smelling quite a bit presently which we believe is normal embedding smells. However - The wife is happy with the unit, it's simple to use, though the dials having to be turned anti-cloockwise is a bit unusual. Note! If paying for install, then really do your homework on whether your current electrical set up is by the regs! I thought I was all gud and it would be a like for like swap out. However Argos sent out Hotpoint themselves to deliver and do the install and they will NOT fit unless ALL is 100% So ensure positioning of hob is to the book, ensure your circuit has a cooker outlet, unfortunately we were wired straight off a independent cooker switch with no spur or cooker outlet. This meant getting the install refunded with some negotiating and then for me to learn what the regs and requirements were and arrange for the ammendments and install.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Hotpoint HR620RH Electric Ceramic Hob: I can confirm that the hob would require a dedicated 32amp spur.
