Not what I thought it would be...
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and was ultimately disappointed. I was led to believe that I could play numerous android games on it, but nothing worked. It's live TV was nothing more than a lead in to installing numerous streaming apps, such as U, 4, 5, iPlayer and ITVX. As a gamer, I saw it as a way to play games on the big screen, and it doesn't achieve that goal. I ended up returning it to the seller.

Improves connectivity & buffering on HDMI TV
I have a Samsung 42" hdmi tv that is at least 10 years old. The 4k fire stick has a faster processor which reduces buffering and connectivity even though my TV can only produce hdmi. I can confirm this is the case as my old firestick (10years old) was terrible with channel 4 and itv x but much better now.
