Needed to return it.
There was a strong chemical smell from the fabric, even when covered with bedding, which filled the room (and not healthy). And the cushions were rock hard.

Amazing Value for Money!
Bought this recently and it’s incredibly comfortable and a good size so it fits in my room nicely. It’s easy to open from being a chair into a bed and it feels sturdy so should last a long time.

Horrible smell
Not worth it. The chemical smell was too overpowering and it is way overpriced for what you get. These foam beds usually smell for a few days but this was awful. Returned to store and got a refund.

The base length of 73cm of the Home Single Fabric Chairbed - Jet Black is the overall length including the angled back. The back of the angled back cushion is straight so will not affect the overall length.

Having checked I can see there is no way of keeping two together for it to be used as a double. There are no connections in the middle or bottom so would it come apart during use.

Our supplier has advised that the Kaikoo Single Cotton Chair Bed does have a zip on the left side, however the cover is not removable but can be cleaned with a damp cloth.

Would not recommend this, its so uncomfortable, I got it for a guest staying who is now currently sitting with a heat back on her neck and back, would get a better night sleep on concrete
