Unsafe lid
We have had this kettle for just over a year. We started having trouble with the lid opening mechanism about a month ago. The button that opens the lid did not always work. After boiling water the lid burst open when someone was pouring water out and they got splashed with hot water. I would not recommend this kettle from a safety point of view.
