I brought the Bosch white kettle overall a good kettle as you would expect from a brand like Bosch the keep warm function not to good it leaves it to long and you only lad up press the reheat bottom yourself. I was looking forward to that little gimmick. Does it warrant the price no but what does warrant the prices we pay today

Very bad IMO
Very disappointed with Bosch and Argos on this product. The description did not specifically list a fully plastic interior of the kettle ie the whole inner compartment that holds water to boiling temperature. With all the concerns of plastics especially in high temperatures, I would have thought (and wrongly assumed) Bosch would have made the interior of stainless steel, as even some cheaper kettles have. I am now reluctant to trust and use these 'reliable' big names of Bosch and Argos. At best the description was seriously lacking important information, at worst possibly aiming to fool. I had been a long time Argos customer, but no more. (Not used so required star ratings are irrelevant)

Great kettle for the price.
This is my second Bosch kettle. First one started to leak a bit around the handle presumably from the seal on the lid. This was after about 4 years. It was not a serious leak just a bit of a drip from the steam at the lid but decided to replace the kettle with the same model. So therefore quite pleased with it specially at it was on offer.

Excellent product
The Bosch kettle is ideal for boiling water to the correct temperature for the range of green teas and coffee that I enjoy. It also seems to heat up more quickly than my previous kettle which means it probably uses less energy and will lower my electricity bill ! Overall an excellent product, I don’t really like giving 5 out of 5 for anything, but it’s at least a 4.9!

Good, But Could Have Been Better.
Nice kettle, boils very fast. Would have given it five stars but for a design fault, the water level guage is under the handle which is obscured when filling the kettle. A better design would have been to have two water level guages one on either side of the kettle as other manufacters have adopted.

I googled it and took the kettle apart and removed the component that made the noise, the kettle still works and my dog is not hiding behind the sofa every time I make a cup of tea
