This is not able to be adjusted to shorten the width because the bars are a set width.

The rail in the middle is adjustable. There’s a series of holes running up the sides of the item’s frame to which you can move the rail to suit your requirements.
The maximum height of the upper section, i.e. when the rail is set in the lowest holes, is 84cm. This makes the lower section 93.5cm.
