This 5" HD colour monitor allows you to see your little one on the parent unit. Up to 110 degrees from the parent unit & 10 x remote digital zoom. Free live remote access via a smartphone, with up to 12 hours of video & 22 hours of audio battery life. Soothing multi colour light on the baby unit with gentle & soothing sounds & lullabies will help settle baby. The temperature sensor will help you set the ideal sleeping environment.

Great baby cam
Been using this for a few weeks now & very pleased. The camera doesn't pan - it manually moves up and down only. But, once in position very good picture. Like being able to remotely change night light or music or even talk through to soothe.

Basic but good bit of kit
Bought this as our wee one was moving from co-sleep to his own room; the camera unit works really well with good quality night vision, and an integrated night light that is bright enough to illuminate the room sufficiently to do night-time feeds and nappy changes. Parent unit was OK; the feature set was a little basic and the battery life will only just past the night but the screen is decent and sound detection is good!

Having checked the instructions, the baby unit (camera) does need to be plugged in to work. It is not a rechargeable unit.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for VTech RM5755 5 Inch HD Smart Video Monitor:
The VTech Baby Plus app can be installed on two separate mobiles and both mobiles can be used to remotely access any of our Smart Monitors from anywhere there is a mobile data connection or Wi-Fi connection.
The only proviso is that both mobiles running app must be using the same account and the pairing process with the mobile and Smart Monitor must be initially set up on the same Wi-Fi connection as the Monitor.
After successful pairing, a paired mobile can access the Monitor from anywhere there is a mobile data connection or Wi-Fi connection as previously stated.

The VTech RM5755HD smart baby monitor operates on both 2.4GHz signal in the home and wi-fi via the app when you are away from the home/child. This means that you can happily use this model and all other current VTech RM series (smart monitors) without connection to your wi-fi.
