Another Kenwood
I like this can opener. My previous one was also a Kenwood and lasted about 9 years. This one is sleeker with cleaner lines. I like the folded in magnetic holder and it works well. Ive still to test it on harder to open cans of peas or smaller tins but up to now im satisfied.

Disappointed
I had to return it, as the knife sharpener is manual, not electric. The old model had a wheel at the back, that would spin as you placed the knife on it. The new design has a couple of thin slots, not suitable for large knives or scissors, and you have to manually scrape it along. It looks pretty, but the old model was superior.

Does exactly as it says on the tin (joke) have used this machine on a number of different tin can designed and seems to be just as effective with all - but like all tin openers of this design can be a bit fiddly to use at first when mounting on the blade but overall seems prity good Hope this unit lasts as long as my previous kenwood unit,time will tell.
