Very pleased with this laptop stand
This laptop stand improves your ergonomic posture when sitting at a desk. It is also more flattering in video calls to raise the camera height. Soft pads underneath the stand mean it does not mark the desk. Would definitely recommend.

Solid Stand
Having broken my old plastic laptop stand I went to see if Argos could provide a new one and this particular ticks all the boxes. Strong, sturdy and easy to assemble the laptop sits on it with no movement and the rubber feet keep all in place. it should last a lifetime and I am really delighted with it. An excellent product.

excellent for constrained baggage
excellent for laptops when you have constrained baggage as can be fully detached and re-assembled on arrival.. and useful in cheap 'digs' where no desk is supplied in room.. aka using your bed as a make-shift work area. Price is a bit high I feel however, but the design build is good. Would recommend. Shame argos don't sell the mechanical fold up desks however. I already have one, but due to trains increasingly going done a budget aircraft route on luggage, sadly couldn't fit mine.. hence bought this as a fall back method.

Perfect for working from home
My laptop fan was always running trying to keep my laptop cool and I wanted to raise the screen especially for using the built in webcam. The laptop stand from Argos was a good price and is a good height and angle. Very happy with it.

Bought this recently as my laptop seemed to be overheating more than usual. But since having this item to take my laptop off the table and increase the airflow, it’s not overheating as much as before. And great value for money, too!
