Strong and robust

Matching Bedroom Set.
Purchased to refit our grandsons bedroom, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to build. Machining was accurate and all three units were erected and positioned in less than half a day. I was very surprised that all three units were made of solid timber because other units in the same price range were either chipboard or MDF. As with all self assembled furniture (flat-pack), care is needed during assembly as the carcass is not very stable until the rear panel is fixed in place, but once the back is on the unit becomes quite rigid and stable. Draws and doors were fitted easily and the assembly instructions were clear and easily understandable. Very happy with the finished product. Also very happy with the Argos delivery crew who left the boxes in the room of my choice, were very courteous and polite and very respectful of my property.

Disappointing in quality
The set came flat packed with holes drilled in the right place and all the fixings. It was easy enough to assemble but has a flimsy quality, not solid as I was expecting with wood rather than chipboard. Lining the wardrobe doors up to close properly was tricky, they still don't open and close smoothly despite us trying multiple times to adjust the hinges. Unfortunately the finish was also lacking. It marks and scratches like balsa wood, such a shame as it looks very nice. Perhaps choosing the Grey set wasn't such a good idea. Luckily I didn't pay the full 380 pounds as I got it on special offer for 310. Still not worth the money in my opinion, , its not got the solidess of a long lasting product.

Just what I needed

holes in wrong place but good quality
The Wardrobe doors had the draw holes in the wrong place, had to get someone to help me drill new holes. The side cabinets only came with right hand sides. Phoned up out of stock, waited 5 days for left hand sides to be delivered. The quality is good but pot luck if you get the correct parts and with the holes in the correct places.

Although what I have been able to build I have been pleased with I am still unable to build the bedside cabinet despite a delivery of a replacement part which was the same as the faulty part have been promised a replacement part still waitlng

I bought this furniture set when it was on offer I was updated throughout from the time of purchase to delivery my husband managed to assemble the items on his own over a couple of evenings i think the amount of screws was the worst bit for him overall the furniture is quite sturdy and the drawers are surprisingly deep I’m really pleased with my purchase and would recommend
