About this product
The Habitat Brooklyn 2 Door 2 Drawer Wardrobe keeps everyone's clothes sorted, whether it's little ones' outfits or your own wardrobe. It's got generous hanging space with a fixed rail that'll hold plenty of coats, dresses and shirts, plus two deep drawers underneath for folded items, accessories or shoes. The solid pine is sturdy and stands up well to daily use and all those busy mornings. Two doors keep everything tucked away neatly, while metal handles make opening and closing easy. The white finish works with most bedroom styles and colour schemes.
The hanging rail's fixed in place and holds up to 15kg, so there's proper capacity for heavier jackets and winter coats. Metal drawer runners keep the drawers gliding smoothly, even when they're packed full. Wall fixings are included, and they're really important for stability, especially in kids' rooms where climbing or pulling can happen. It arrives flat-packed, and you'll want two people for assembly to make it easier. The wardrobe's covered by a one-year guarantee, so you've got peace of mind with your purchase.

Lovely Furniture
Lovely furniture, instructions for build straightforward and finish product sturdy. Made from wood rather than chipboard so will last longer. Grey colour really nice too

Surprised at the poor quality
Really disappointed by the quality the wardrobe. The build feels very flimsy and the wardrobe parts came with lots of marks with paint work pealing off. The doors also do not align well. Customer service has not been great and I’m still waiting after several weeks for replacement doors to be sent because of the issue with the original. I’ve bought many items from habitat before but will think twice before buying again.

Poor design, very flimsy
Once assembled this wardrobe has excessive back/forth and side to side movement. A back brace was too short, the instructions were vague in important stages 7 & 9 with just diagrams, no labelling front/rear causing confusion leading to an error that caused damage (screwing wrong side of a panel), overall it is not sturdy enough on the 4 small feet and the fabric wall anti tip straps will not prevent side to side movement. The doors do not align due to this. A solid proper base is required not a couple pieces of 2” wide slats , one that is held with angle brackets, tiny screws and doesn’t fit properly. Also what is a ‘mending plate’?…shouldnt this be called a door plate to save yet more confusion?…quality is nice overall, shame about the design, too rickity and needs a base or better reinforcing

Good quality and easy instructions
Easy to put up (albeit slightly fiddly doing it solo) and instructions are clear. Sturdy piece of furniture for the price. Draws are the let down as not on rollers so a bit stiff.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Habitat Brooklyn 2 Door 2 Drawer Wardrobe - White.
The wardrobe is available in three colours: white, dark grey, and dark green. It comes with a water-based UV acrylic lacquer finish, which can be challenging to paint over. Painting directly on this lacquer is generally not recommended.
However, if painting is desired, the lacquer must be thoroughly sanded using 150-grit sandpaper to create a matte surface before applying any water-based lacquer paint. This ensures better adhesion and a smoother finish.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Habitat Brooklyn 2 Door 2 Drawer Wardrobe - White:
All chipboard and MDF panels contains glue. So, they will emit some formaldehyde. Even untread pine does naturally emit formaldehyde.
We buy our MDF panels in Germany. Germany has stricter regulations for formaldehyde emissions from MDF panels which from 2020 only allow half the amount of formaldehyde E05 as rest of Europe.
From August 2026 will rest of Europe follow the change from E1 to E05 values.
