I bought this to weigh my suitcase before I went on holiday. Its very easy to use and has a clear dial which is easy to read. The strap clips on to the handle of the suitcase easily too.

Tried this on a half full suitcase to establish that it worked. All ok and placed it back in the box. When needed for weigh in on full suitcase the strap had become detached. Frantic trip back to Argos for a replacement. Not confident about lasting durability.

I wanted to buy a portable luggage scale from a recognised and reliable manufacturer, so I chose this Salter model. As expected, it is really well made , strong and works perfectly. The tolerance on screen readings is quoted as +/- 0.5kg, but I would not be surprised if it's actually much better than this, based on my past experience with Salter scales. An excellent purchase. Highly recommended.

Don’t waste your time as it’s not accurate in any way, would return it but cat used the box for fighting skills.. used it at the time of travel then the airport scales showed 3+ kg difference….

Bought these scales prior to our holiday. Very easy to use. Best to lay a large case on its side and make sure to strap is tight. The unit 'beeps' to tell you that it has taken a measurement. Seemed reasonably accurate for weighting suitcases.
