Small double bed.
Purchased this for my grandsons bedroom when he visits, his old one was a bit childish for him, bed is quite heavy and well built, quite easy to assemble but read the instructions to make sure it's right first time, I done this on my own and took about 2 hours, bed comes with some tools to assemble but you will probably need a screwdriver and a small hammer, maybe a battery drill driver to put the slats on, drawers are a good design as they have wheels on the bottom to roll in and out, I ordered the 2 drawer set but they sent me 4 drawers for some reason, in all, a really nice quality bed that doesn't shake and squeak.

Not as good as I expected
The bed looks nice once it’s done but I found it to be made of cheap, weak components and putting it together could’ve been made easier and more practical. The middle support is only attached at one end which seems madness to me. There should be pilot holes for the slats instead of having to make silly measurements. And the side beams have a cheap, fiddly method of securing. The bed does not feel at all strong but will be fine for my son.

Comfortable bed
The delivery was on time, the bed was nicely packed . The instructions are easy to follow. It is called a small double bed but it is spacious enough which is very comfortable. My grandson loves it!

Bought this a month a go, the draws are so hard to pull out and push under the bed, the bed is very low down to the floor. Frame is solid good quality ok for the price

Half a job
Not great - I thought a 2 draw bed would be for a bed that needed only 2 draws - but the bed needs 4. A 2 bed draw situation is only any good if the bed is against the wall. Mine isn’t and now looks ridiculous with a gap either side where draws should be. And you can’t buy the draws separately. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Hello Kat. The Argos Jenson 2 Drawer Small Double Storage Bed Frame measures W126.5, L196.6. A small double mattress measures W120, L190. So there will a small gap at the top and at the side which is standard for the placing of bedding etc. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Q and A.
