The De'Longhi 'Dragon' range oil-filled electric radiators have a large radiating surface while maintaining the speed of hot air convection. They are silent running, will not overly affect air moisture levels. The convective chimneys on Dragon 4 radiators provide a 'Super Chimney' effect, increasing convective airflow. Oil does not need replacing.

Quiet heater that does what it should
I had a noisy fan heater. It was alright, but too noisy. One day it died and turned into a fan. That's not good in the winter. The De'Longhi Dragon works well considering that I live in a house that has little insulation. The heater is quiet, and because it is oil-filled, keeps warm even after you turn it off. Also, it's quiet.

This is a good looking oil filled heater which works really well and gives a good amount of heat even on the lowest setting. The manual timer is easy to control for energy efficiency.

Expencive end of the market but so far so good, certainly knocks out some heat and has solved the heating problem in my elderly Mothers flat. Very hot to the touch so practical consideration must be given if small children are about.

I can advise the following for the De'Longhi Dragon-4 2.5kW Oil Filled Radiator:
The plug is pulling 2.5KW when the element is on heating. Some residual heat will remain in the plug when in use. this is why they suggest not to use an extension lead and not to leave it unattended.

"Our oil filled radiators are not supplied with an efficiency rating due to being heated with oil within the fins"
