About this product
The LX50 can shred 9 sheets per pass into 4 x 37mm cross-cut particles, so you can be sure that your confidential documents have been shredded securely. The LX50 features a safety lock which prevents the machine from being accidentally activated. This paper shredder will shred continuously for up to 5 minutes before requiring 30 minutes to cool down. This shredders cutter will not only shred your documents, but can shred staples, paper clips and credit cards too. The LX50 features a 17-litre bin with a lift-off-head.

Very pleased
Purchased this shredder as my previous Fellowes shredder was on its way out. Very pleased with its performance so far. Slightly smaller than my old one but just as powerful. Would definitely recommend.

Nice little shredder
Well what can I say, my last home shredder finally gave up and so I decided to buy a new one. My main issue is that the market is filled with cheap, ugly shredders and this makes it very difficult to find a good one. The fellows LX50 stood out from the crowd. It looks good and feels really nicely made. The cross cut operation makes short work of all those sensitive documents. Overall very happy with it.

Bought for home not office use. Overheats and cuts out quite quickly. Works well with up to four sheets of ordinary paper, but produces a lot of paper dust in the room (so much so that vacuuming is necessary).

The duty cycle for the LX50 shredder is 5 minutes run time and 30 minutes cool down.
