About this product
The LX50 can shred 9 sheets per pass into 4 x 37mm cross-cut particles, so you can be sure that your confidential documents have been shredded securely. The LX50 features a safety lock which prevents the machine from being accidentally activated. This paper shredder will shred continuously for up to 5 minutes before requiring 30 minutes to cool down. This shredders cutter will not only shred your documents, but can shred staples, paper clips and credit cards too. The LX50 features a 17-litre bin with a lift-off-head.

Excellent Shredder
This is a great shredder. Motor is alot quiter than my last one which I only had for a week so went for the Fellows and glad I did. You still need to use the Fellows Shredder Oil to keep the blades lubricated so the paper doesn't jam up the blades but this applies to all makes of home office shredders. This shredder cross cuts so better sercurity. It has a 17 litre bin capacity. Would recommend.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago and so far it is working as expected.

ITS Ok fit for purpose.
Its ok certainly does the job and serms to be well built, however the 5 min constant shredding time wirh a pause of 30 mins to let the unit not overheat is a bit of a bore .... I expected a bit more VAVAVOOM. Still i suppose we cant have everything the way we wish . Despite this it does work as it should and found it more productive shredding a max of 2 sheets of A4 at a time. Will see how it performs over time. I can not say that i would NOT reccomend this as it does shred perfectly well.

Initial Impressions Positive
Only purchased yesterday, used once briefly, hence 4 as opposed to 5 stars, as early days. Good functionality and much quieter than my previous machine, which was many years old. So far so good initial impressions very promising.

Good product - don’t forget to buy oil as well
Just bought this and used for the first time. Works as expected. I was disappointed with the amount of plastic in the packaging (mainly card and no polystyrene which is good but why did everything need to be in plastic bags, including the paperwork! Also massive paper booklet with loads of different languages. Seems a bit wasteful. I would have preferred they’d spent the money on a bottle of shredder oil. It says to use oil every time you empty the basket. Fair enough and normal I’m sure, but oddly enough, it’s not something I already have!

Great shredder
Only purchased this shredder a couple of days ago but impressed with it so far. We have a large amount of documents to shed and it has been working with ease so far. Doesn't seem to struggle with thicker documents and has a decent capacity for a home shredder.

Excellent Home Shredder
I decided to purchase a home shredder for a pile of old documents i have, i bought this model after reading reviews, its a nice compact size with easy layout and simple to use. It shreds up to 9 sheets no problem, its quiet and has a good size basket capacity for my needs. Very easy to store.

The duty cycle for the LX50 shredder is 5 minutes run time and 30 minutes cool down.
