About this product
The LX50 can shred 9 sheets per pass into 4 x 37mm cross-cut particles, so you can be sure that your confidential documents have been shredded securely. The LX50 features a safety lock which prevents the machine from being accidentally activated. This paper shredder will shred continuously for up to 5 minutes before requiring 30 minutes to cool down. This shredders cutter will not only shred your documents, but can shred staples, paper clips and credit cards too. The LX50 features a 17-litre bin with a lift-off-head.

Even better than the last one
My previous Fellowes shredder lasted over 10 years so I went back to the same outfit. The new one is even better: quieter, more efficient, and with a bigger volume container. It didn't overheat on the first large load either. If it lasts as long as the last one I'll be well pleased.

Dust creation machine
Throws as much dust out of the top as it puts shredded paper in the bin below. Not a patch on my previous Fellowes shredder which was great.

works well, a bit noisy but not as bad as the old one, don't forget to oil it! it works. the bits are really small needed the hoover to clean up! but that's what you want, so all good.

Excellent Shredder
This is a great shredder. Motor is alot quiter than my last one which I only had for a week so went for the Fellows and glad I did. You still need to use the Fellows Shredder Oil to keep the blades lubricated so the paper doesn't jam up the blades but this applies to all makes of home office shredders. This shredder cross cuts so better sercurity. It has a 17 litre bin capacity. Would recommend.

The duty cycle for the LX50 shredder is 5 minutes run time and 30 minutes cool down.
