About this product
The LX50 can shred 9 sheets per pass into 4 x 37mm cross-cut particles, so you can be sure that your confidential documents have been shredded securely. The LX50 features a safety lock which prevents the machine from being accidentally activated. This paper shredder will shred continuously for up to 5 minutes before requiring 30 minutes to cool down. This shredders cutter will not only shred your documents, but can shred staples, paper clips and credit cards too. The LX50 features a 17-litre bin with a lift-off-head.

I purchased this as I work from home and need to safely and securely dispose of admin paperwork. It works brilliantly and I would definitely recommend this for domestic use or for those working from home. Cuts paper into very small strips so it does what I need it to do.

I killed my old shredder with overuse and was frantic to get another one, This seems excellent and for a change I do actually believe that it will shred my credit cards without damaging itself. I also like the fact taht it can be switched off and that there is a locking system - although I do not believe my cat would try to use it!!

Really effective and quick
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and am really pleased with it. It takes several sheets of paper at a time and sheds very quickly. It needs a rest every so often, but doesn’t take long to start up again. Easy to empty and you soon know when you’ve filled it up.

The duty cycle for the LX50 shredder is 5 minutes run time and 30 minutes cool down.
